Deposed as an expert witness for plaintiff to describe the anatomical
basis of injury to the neck in rear end collision. Used projection
color slides of human dissections showing bones, muscles and nerves
of the neck. Case settled out of court.
2. Deposed
as an expert witness for defense to describe injuries to nerves
at wrist following handcuffing of plaintiff. Used anatomical diagrams
and hand and wrist model to show relationship of nerves to structures
at the wrist. Case settled out of court.
3. Deposition
and court appearance as expert witness for plaintiff in medical
malpractice case involving testicular atrophy following hernia repair.
Demonstrated by diagram the blood supply to testicles showing how
interruption of blood supply could result in atrophy. Judgment for the defense.
4. Deposition
and court appearance as expert witness for plaintiff hit in base
of spine by market carts at Wal-Mart. Plaintiff suffered back and
neck injury with spinal fusion and disability. Demonstrated the
dynamics of the spine using a spinal model and showed how trauma
to the lower spine could affect the upper spine. Plaintiff awarded
6-figure sum. |
